Billing
Billing in Pineprompt is per organization: each organization holds one subscription, and the plan determines the quotas every project inside it shares. The current plans and their prices are listed on the pricing page; this page explains the mechanics.
What a plan controls
A plan sets a quota on each of the following, counted across the whole organization rather than per project.
- Projects
- How many brands or sites you may monitor.
- Monitors
- How many platform, country, and language configurations you may run.
- Prompts
- How many questions you may track across your projects.
- Responses per month
- How many answers your monitors may collect in a month. Each prompt consumes one response per selected platform per day, so you may estimate usage as prompts × platforms × 30.
- Members
- How many people may belong to the organization.
- API and Looker Studio access
- Programmatic access via the API and the Looker Studio connector are available on the higher plans.
Reaching a limit
Quotas on things you create, such as projects, monitors, prompts, and members, are enforced at creation time: once the quota is full, the app will not let you add another until you remove one or upgrade. The monthly response quota is enforced on collection, so when it runs out, your monitors pause for the remainder of the billing month and resume automatically when the new month begins. Nothing is deleted in either case.
Upgrading, downgrading, and payment
Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly and handled through Stripe; only the organization's owner may manage them. An upgrade takes effect immediately, with the price difference prorated. When downgrading, you should first make sure your usage fits inside the smaller plan's quotas, since anything above a quota blocks the creation of new resources until it does.
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries it and emails the owner with a link to update the payment method. Your data is unaffected during this window.
Cancellation
Cancelling stops the subscription at the end of the period you have already paid for, and your monitors keep running until then. Of course, you may resume the subscription at any time before the period ends, and picking a plan again later restores access to your organization as you left it.
