Peec AI vs Ahrefs Brand Radar
Peec AI is a dedicated AI search analytics tool. Ahrefs Brand Radar is an AI visibility module inside the Ahrefs suite. Here is how to choose.
Peec AI and Ahrefs Brand Radar both show how often your brand appears in AI answers, but they come from different places. Peec AI is a standalone product that describes itself as AI search analytics for marketing teams. Brand Radar is part of Ahrefs, so it sits next to the SEO tools many teams already use. The better fit mostly depends on whether you want a dedicated tracker or AI visibility alongside your existing SEO data.
This comparison draws on each vendor's public website as we read it on 23 October 2026, plus our own compare pages. Vendors change their products often, so confirm details with them before you buy. We have left out prices on purpose, because they change and are best read on each vendor's own pricing page. Where a statement is the vendor's own claim, we say so.
The two tools in brief
Peec AI tracks the prompts you add and reports visibility, position and sentiment against competitors, plus the sources AI answers cite. Its pricing page says it is trusted by 3500+ brands and agencies.
Ahrefs Brand Radar offers two ways to work. Custom Prompts lets you track the exact questions your buyers ask. The AI Visibility Index lets you look up any brand across what Ahrefs says is 496 million prompts, with no setup. Ahrefs says every prompt is modelled from real user searches in its keyword database.
Platforms covered
On Peec AI's pricing page, the self-serve plans (Starter, Pro and Advanced) each let you choose three models. Named models include ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Extra models can be added as paid add-ons. Claude appears only on the Enterprise plan.
Ahrefs lists AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot for its Index, and says Custom Prompts supports those plus Claude. Its pricing section notes that Claude consumes 8 checks per update, so it costs more of your allowance than other platforms. We did not find Grok listed anywhere on the Brand Radar page.
Where the data comes from
This is the biggest difference. Ahrefs says the AI Visibility Index is built by expanding real queries from its keyword database into natural questions, running them through each platform and storing the responses. By its own description, question sets are re-tested monthly on a 90-day reporting window, and the Index works best for brands with meaningful search demand. Ahrefs says it may have limited coverage for brands with little or no search volume. Custom Prompts are the route for those cases.
Peec AI works from the prompts you choose. Its pricing page lists daily runs on Starter, Pro and Advanced, and daily or weekly on Enterprise.
So Ahrefs offers a wide, search-demand-backed view of any market, while Peec AI offers a narrower view of the prompts you decide matter. Ahrefs can also tie AI mentions back to search demand and topics, which is useful if you already plan content around keywords.
Refresh and allowances
Ahrefs says Custom Prompts can be checked daily, weekly or monthly per platform, and that each prompt uses one check per platform, location and update. Its page describes per-plan prompt and check allowances, with overage billed per check on the Index. Peec AI's plans set prompt limits instead, and its pricing page says queries can be tracked across any supported country or language at no additional cost.
Integrations and data access
Peec AI lists a Looker Studio integration on the Advanced plan, API access on Enterprise, and MCP under data access.
Ahrefs lists Data Studio connectors among its wider tools, and an API and an SEO MCP in its footer. We could not confirm from the Brand Radar page which of these cover Brand Radar data, so check that with Ahrefs. Ahrefs also lists AI traffic and bot analytics, and tracking of YouTube, TikTok and Reddit sources, as bonuses for Ahrefs customers.
How you buy
Peec AI's pricing page offers a Start free trial button, with Enterprise custom through sales. Brand Radar is sold through Ahrefs, and Ahrefs says Custom Prompts are included free with paid Ahrefs plans from Lite upward. We did not see a trial offered on the Brand Radar page.
Which to pick
- You already live in Ahrefs: Brand Radar. The AI data sits beside your keyword and backlink data, and Ahrefs says Custom Prompts are included with paid plans.
- You want to size up any brand or market without setup: Brand Radar's Index, with the caveat about low-search-volume brands.
- You want a dedicated AI visibility tool for marketing teams: Peec AI.
- You want to test before paying: Peec AI lists a free trial.
- You report through Looker Studio: Peec AI lists a connector on Advanced.
- You need Claude without an enterprise contract: Brand Radar lists Claude for Custom Prompts, while Peec AI reserves it for Enterprise.
Where Pineprompt fits
Pineprompt is a focused tracker. It runs your tracked prompts daily and reports mentions and position, sentiment, cited sources, competitors and share of voice. Six platforms are live: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Copilot. Grok and Perplexity are listed but temporarily unavailable. Each monitor covers one country and one language. The MCP server is on every plan, and the API and Looker Studio connector are on Professional and Business. There is no free trial.
It is a poor fit if you want a keyword-backed index of every brand in a market, or SEO tools in the same product. For side-by-side pages, see Pineprompt vs Peec.ai and Pineprompt vs Ahrefs Brand Radar, or read the pricing page. To set up a monitor, start at Pineprompt.
