The two tools in brief

Promptwatch sells Essential, Professional and Business plans, plus a custom Enterprise plan. Plans are sized by projects, prompts and monthly responses. Promptwatch offers a 7-day free trial on Essential and Professional.

Peec AI sells Starter, Pro and Advanced plans, plus a custom Enterprise plan with annual pricing. Plans are sized by prompts and projects. Peec AI offers a free trial.

Model coverage

This is the sharpest difference between the two.

Promptwatch lists "Track all models" on every plan. Its supported list includes ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Llama, DeepSeek and Mistral, among others. Its pricing page lists no model add-ons.

Peec AI's Starter, Pro and Advanced plans each include three models, and you can add more models at any time as a paid add-on. Its pricing page lists Claude among the Enterprise models, so on the standard plans Claude is not part of the base offer. If your buyers use a wide mix of engines, count the add-ons when you compare.

Tracking locations

Peec AI states that queries can be tracked in any supported country or language at no additional cost, because pricing is tied to prompt usage rather than region.

Promptwatch lists country-level tracking on every plan and adds state and city level tracking on the Business plan. If you need tracking down to a city, that is where it starts.

API, MCP and reporting

Promptwatch lists MCP access and API access on every plan. It also lists a Data Studio integration and custom reports in its team and access section.

Peec AI puts API access under its Enterprise plan. Its Advanced plan includes a Looker Studio integration. The pricing page also lists MCP under data access, so check with Peec AI which plan includes it for your setup.

If you need to feed visibility data into your own reports, check which plan unlocks the access you want. Promptwatch opens it earlier, while Peec AI reserves the API for its top tier.

Content and optimization features

Promptwatch goes beyond monitoring. It lists content writing and refresh from the Professional plan, along with an agent chat, a knowledge base, content gap analysis and crawler logs as features. Peec AI's pricing page focuses on monitoring and analytics; content writing is not among the features listed there.

Which should you choose

• Choose Promptwatch if you want its listed models included on every plan, API and MCP from the entry tier, and content writing as part of the same tool.
• Choose Peec AI if three models cover your market, you want tracking in any country with no extra cost, and you value a Looker Studio integration on the Advanced plan.
• Check the add-on cost for the models your customers actually use before deciding. That is where the two plan structures diverge most.

Where Pineprompt fits

Pineprompt is a third option focused on monitoring. It tracks ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Copilot daily on every plan.
