Profound vs Evertune

Profound and Evertune both pair AI visibility tracking with real-user prompt data, but they build on it differently. Here is how they compare and who each suits.

Profound and Evertune are both platforms that go well beyond counting brand mentions. Each tracks your visibility across AI answer engines, and each pairs that with data about what real people ask AI, plus agents that help you act. Profound presents itself as an AI platform for marketing, built around its AI Marketer and answer engine insights. Evertune presents itself as a platform for owning the AI customer journey, with tracking, content and advertising. If you are weighing the two, the differences come down to how you can start, which engines you get at which tier, and whether you want advertising in the same product. For a ChatGPT-focused comparison, see our guide to ChatGPT visibility trackers.

This comparison draws on each vendor's public website as we read it on 23 October 2026, plus our own compare pages. Vendors change their products often, so confirm details with them before you buy. We have left out prices on purpose, because they change and are best read on each vendor's own pricing page.

The two tools in brief

Profound tracks brand visibility across answer engines and adds an AI Marketer, a teammate that researches, writes and reports, along with custom agents for recurring marketing work, agent analytics for AI-sourced traffic, and Prompt Volumes for demand data.

Evertune pairs tracking with EverPanel, which it describes as a proprietary panel of over 150 million user prompts, and with a Content Agent, an Ads Manager Agent for ChatGPT ads, and AI retargeting. Its homepage reports being trusted by over 700 advertisers and agencies.

Engines covered

Profound's pricing page lists a free Trial that tracks ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, with 50 prompts run daily for seven days. Enterprise lists up to nine answer engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, DeepSeek, Anthropic Claude, Google AI Overviews and Exa Search.

Evertune's pricing page lists five models on Starter: ChatGPT Search, Gemini Search, AI Mode, AI Overview and Copilot. Pro and Enterprise track 11 models, adding ChatGPT Base, Gemini Base, Meta AI, Claude, Perplexity and DeepSeek.

So Evertune reaches Claude and Perplexity at Pro, while Profound reserves them for Enterprise. Profound's Enterprise list includes Exa Search, which Evertune does not list.

Sampling and refresh

Both tools monitor daily on their paid tiers. Evertune lists daily monitoring on every plan, and Profound lists daily prompt frequency on Enterprise. Profound's Trial runs daily for its seven days.

Evertune puts more emphasis on method. Its homepage says it samples each prompt 100 times, and its pricing page lists statistical significance from day one (100 samples per prompt) on Pro and Enterprise but not Starter. We did not find an equivalent sampling claim on Profound's pricing page, so ask Profound how it handles run-to-run variation if that matters to you.

Prompt demand data

This is the area where the two are most alike, and both deserve credit. Each builds prompt demand data from real-user panels rather than from model output alone.

Profound's Prompt Volumes page says its data comes from double opt-in consumer panels, not API outputs or synthetic estimates. It refreshes weekly, covers regions including the US, UK, Canada, Germany and France, and offers intent classification and demographic breakdowns. On the Trial you get five searches; Enterprise is custom.

Evertune's EverPanel is described as a proprietary panel of over 150 million user prompts, and its Prompt Volumes and Prompt Lab features are listed on Pro and Enterprise. Its homepage says its Prompt Agent uses the consumer panel to find the questions people ask in your category and cluster them into topics, and its methodology page says the panel is weighted to reflect the composition of the internet. If panel recruitment and refresh cadence matter to you, ask Evertune directly.

Beyond tracking

Profound's pricing page lists AI Marketer credits, custom agents, a context manager, shared projects and Profound Sheets for running agents at scale on both Trial and Enterprise, with suggestions unlimited on Enterprise. Agent Analytics tracks AI-sourced traffic across domains, with integrations such as Cloudflare, Google Analytics and WordPress.

Evertune's pricing page lists a Content Agent on Pro (25 articles a month) and Enterprise, AI retargeting on Pro and Enterprise, and a Fact Checker, site audit and bot analytics on Enterprise. The Ads Manager Agent is on every plan. If you want to run ChatGPT ads from the same tool as your visibility data, Evertune lists a dedicated agent for it on its pricing page.

Data access

Profound's pricing page lists an API, full history, and CSV and JSON exports on Enterprise only. The Trial has no API, no exports and no history.

Evertune lists data download and a Data MCP to Claude or ChatGPT on Pro and Enterprise, with export to a cloud bucket and APIs on Enterprise only.

How you buy

Profound has a free Trial with a Get Started button. It is a limited product trial: limited AI Marketer credits, 50 prompts, seven days. Enterprise is sold through Get a Demo.

Evertune has a self-serve Starter plan with a Get started button. The Ads Manager Agent on Starter is free for the first seven days, which is an Ads Agent trial rather than a trial of the product. Pro and Enterprise go through sales.

Which to pick

  • You want to try the product before talking to anyone: Profound. Its Trial runs a recommended set of 50 prompts daily for seven days; Trial users cannot customize the prompts.
  • You want to advertise in ChatGPT from the same tool: Evertune.
  • You need Claude and Perplexity without an enterprise contract: Evertune lists both at Pro.
  • You want a general AI marketing assistant and traffic attribution: Profound, through the AI Marketer and Agent Analytics.
  • You want a published sampling count per prompt: Evertune, which lists 100 samples per prompt on Pro and Enterprise.
  • You need an API or data export: both offer an API only on Enterprise. Evertune adds data download and a Data MCP at Pro.

Where Pineprompt fits

Pineprompt is a tracker and nothing else. It runs daily on six live AI platforms: ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode and Copilot. Grok and Perplexity are listed but temporarily unavailable. Each monitor covers one country and one language. The MCP server is on every plan, and the API and Looker Studio connector are on Professional and Business. There is no free trial.

It is a poor fit if you want an AI marketing agent, content generation, advertising or a real-user prompt panel, because it does none of those. For a side-by-side, see Pineprompt vs Profound and Pineprompt vs Evertune, or read the pricing page.
